IMS is a free voluntary programme of sports in which all students at Loughborough are able to participate. There are 40 different sports leagues and one day events representing a wide variety of sports, from the mainstream such as rugby, cricket and football, to the less well represented such as archery and kayaking.

This year we came third overall in IMS!

Each hall fields a team for each sport across the year, with results contributing to the hall's overall points. There are over 60 fixtures per week across the board, so whatever your forte, there'll be something to get involved in.

Within Royce Hall, IMS is organized and run by our Sports Secs. Whenever there is an upcoming fixture, expect to see them publicizing it and looking for willing participants! The bottom line with IMS is: it's a good laugh, there's a wide variety of sports you can do, and you're ultimately contributing to Royce's standing in the Hall of the Year competition - so there really is no reason not to get involved!
